A house with a big family to accommodate. The local Balinese Client’s Term of reference has come as such a good challenging request in a pretty small land. Flood is one of the main issue of the site due to its location that lower from the main street and close distance by the nearest river. When rain comes, client described it as a quite disaster.

5 bedrooms with a circulation and placement which has been determined by the client is part of the menu to solve. Even more, this house needs to be Elder-friendly. Decision was made by risen the main surface of the house to be 1 meter higher than the road. But to maintain the parking area to be in a decent height gap from the road as the vehicle access standard.

Our Design language as clean, modern, simple, honest had come also to to covers all the clients idea and necessity. The using of wooden, exposed cement, brick, are some items we proposed which clients happily received. The using of a clean white color will be a good contrast to make the building to be stand out in the very hi density neighborhood as the site issue and client request.
